  • collaborative, active

  • develops storytelling skills

  • a lesson in media literacy

We'll bring iPads, clay, a green screen or whatever is needed for your workshop. What follows will be an unforgettable lesson in the filmmaking style of your choice. Students work together to process their ideas, problem solve and think creatively. School workshops can last as little as an hour and a half or as long as a full day. Film In A Day

  • a lesson in media literacy

  • an active introduction to filmmaking

  • a wonderful project that will bring your entire school together.

In Film In A Day, Box Of Light will spend a full day in your school and create a movie with your students and faculty. By the end of the day, your students will know what goes into making the films they see on the big screen and will feel like stars. We end the day by showing the rough cut of the film in an all school assembly.
